Turkey Day- Alaska Style

The turkey is roasting and the side dishes are getting ready. While this is happening, my sweetheart is passing along crucial information to his male posterity: how to operate a snow blower. Yep, this is an important life skill and Mother Nature has provided PLENTY of snow to practice on in the past few days.
(Notice that the snow is as high as our almost 4 foot deck railing? Today I am extra thankful for snow blowers- and a husband to use it!)

I just noticed that Reuben has a Santa hat on. I guess we are feeling the Christmas spirit early this year. I will post some of our Thanksgiving pictures later.
