Playing with Knives

Eight graders are required to complete a year long project in which they acquire a new skill. Reid picked knife throwing. I was skeptical at first that this was indeed a bona fide skill. I have since learned otherwise. Reuben and Reid's teacher were supportive of the idea, so we purchased a book, a DVD, throwing knives and hatchets. Then my guys built a target together.
Reid's project falls directly under "Dad will help you with this" category. I am happy to take the pictures.

Trespassers beware: my teenager will take you down faster than you can say "Jack Dagger".
