My little girl is 10 years old today. I can still remember holding her after she was born like it was yesterday. I was so surprised and happy to have a girl.
She is growing up too quickly. One foot is stepping into womanhood and wanting make-up and high heels and the other foot is planted in childhood as she plays dress-up with her dolls.
I am honored to be her mother. I hope I can teach her all she needs to know. I hope I can show her enough love that she will come to me when she needs help.
Sometimes I look into those eyes and can't believe I get to be her Mom.
No matter how old she gets, she will always be my baby.
