Happy Camper

We took our truck camper out to Echo Cove this week-end and had a lovely time. It was our first official camp out as a family in this camper. I can get used to camping with an inside toilet, microwave, oven, heat, and a TV! I may be ruined for life to any other type of camping :) I brought my camera to capture this event- and I didn't take even one picture! I guess I was too busy having fun (and cooking unbelievable amounts of bacon) to think about it. One night I woke up before the sun and just laid in bed listening to my family's restful breathing (and some snoring). I felt happy to know each of them was safely tucked into a bed and we were all together. I think this is the beginning of a long, positive relationship with the camper.

3 amazing observations:

Did you stensil Happy Camper on the side? That's funny. I am slightly jelous because as you are camping inside your camper, I will be shivering ouside with the misquitos next summer. Or trying to find my muddy shoes outside while I run to the next bush and go to the bathroom.
Yes, your relationship will be positive...cooking hot burritos on your grill as I am warming up pre-cooked, half soggy burritos...only to wish..
I'm sure you get the jelousy factor.

Beth- Actually the "happy camper" is a PS addition, so it isn't really there! (It was for our class assignment)
I know you guys will get a camper someday. I have been camping w/o one for 16 married years, so give it time!
