Little Sis loved her crib. It was a sign of things to come. To this day if she is tired, she will ask to go to bed! Love it!

The first few days together Little Sis was unsure about her new parents. We looked different, spoke differently, and even smelled different than what she was used to. When we would try to hold her, she would lift her hands away from us. She wasn't ready to touch yet. It was hard to watch her going through this change, but we had been prepared for this by the adoption agency.
We took it slow and played games and generally made fools of ourselves for this baby we loved.

When we went shopping with Little Sis, the Chinese people would approach us and say, "Warm hearts" or "lucky baby". They were very kind and seemed happy for us. We never once felt unsafe in China.

3 amazing observations:
The picture that looks the most like Paige now is the third one where she found her smile again.
Those last few posts are so neat Erin. What a blessing all-around! You could be a great source of comfort to a lot of families: check out Lindsey Redfern's blog, TheRHouse (you can get there from my site) and a new social network called adoption voices ... there's a link on one of my recent blog posts.
Thanks for sharing!
I love your stories. You are a blessing.
