One of my FAVORITE things!

I am not really a coupon shopper. I should clarify and say that I don't clip coupons, but I do love happy coincidences that allow me to save money! Last week I was at Fred Meyer and as I was checking out with a cart full of clothing, I casually looked at the store flyer. Lucky for me a 15% off coupon on all clothing was right on the front- very cool! I do try to purchase my Costco items like paper towels and toilet paper when they are in their sale flyer. So basically I am a lazy coupon shopper who loves to save money if it doesn't take too much time.

Want to know my secret to almost always saving $$$ when I shop online?
I ALWAYS check www.retailmenot.com before checking out. Seriously, I have saved A TON of money by adding the company's name and "promo code" into my google search bar.
Here is an example from yesterday:

I wanted to purchase some Caldrea soap. Happily, their site was having a 20% off sale-nice! So I did some stocking up for the future and my order totaled $62.30. I proceeded to check-out and add my address information. The shipping was $66! Of course I would never pay this much for shipping. Now came the "enter coupon code" screen. I googled "caldrea promo code". And what do you know? At www.retailmenot.com I found a free shipping coupon code! And it worked!! So I placed my order and saved $66 on shipping!!! And all it took me was about 10 seconds to check for a deal. Pretty cool, huh?
I have used this many, many times and usually save money about 90% of the time. I hope this tidbit of mine saves you some money too!
