We had a quiet week. Christmas break ended and the kids went back to school. I've mostly been home. One child had a cough. Then another child was throwing up. I read two books. My sweetie and I discovered the new TV series "V" and watched the first 4 episodes. Ate lunch with my parents. Had good talks with Troy. Donated kitchen items to Goodwill. Read my scriptures every night. Stayed away from sugar. Hope to see my Mom this week-end.
Not a particularly memorable week. But I feel content. I feel grateful. I feel glad I have the time to be with my children, loving them.
Here is my sidekick
This girl rocks. I love how she thinks. She is so smart & funny. She acts like the queen bee at home, but gets very quiet out in the wide world. At 2 she loved Dora. At 3 it was SpongeBob. Now she loves Max & Ruby. She has definite opinions about Halloween costumes & birthday cakes. She makes sure I water ALL the plants in the house & don't forget one. She knows the alphabet & can count. She has a sassy sense of humor ("What does a starfish say? Nothing. Starfish do not talk.") She loves vegetables. She does not love cheese or peanut butter. She has a way of looking out of the corner of her eye when she is up to something.
She is my sidekick. My little buddy. I can't imagine life without her.
3 amazing observations:
Paige sounds like alot of fun to have as a sidekick. Kids change so fast don't they and before you know it, their little personalities shine.
(Baby is moving right now as I'm typing...it just started Yesturday and it's kinda cool! :)
She is darling Erin!
Hey - join up with our family and others of Brooke's friends with the GREATEST LOSER thing she's spear-heading. I'm going to go make tapioca pudding right now because it's my last night of yummy stuff like that :)
Cool Denalee! I will go to Brooke's blog and check it out. Let me know if I need to find it somewhere else.
I am ready for a challenge.
