Mom

My Mom celebrated a birthday this week. She is such a neat lady. Besides being my mother, I count her among my close friends. She loves her family and is a dedicated mother and grandma. Mom was great about teaching me the details of growing up. I could ask her anything and she gave me an honest answer. I have taken the same straightforward approach with my girls.

My mom is a great role model today for continuing to mature. She enjoys herself and has a youthful outlook.

Thanks Mom for teaching me, for listening to me talk a lot about your wonderful grandchildren, for being there whenever I need you, and for always loving me (even when I've been less than lovely).

I'm so glad I have you.
