Weird, I know. What do pumpkins and eggs have in common? This week they were subjects for my photography class.
I was experimenting with different light sources this week. This is Paige's pumpkin at night time with a side (or raking) light. Side lighting shows texture.

In photoshop I selected the egg and bumped up the whiteness while leaving the background in it's original state. I was pleased that the shadows and texture remain visible on the egg.

Love them. I have gotten alot of pictures the last couple of days to fill my assignments. Your going to be surprised. It is too fun being with family and feeding off of their creativity.
