Today was a big day. My 4th and last child started preschool. Dropping her off went very smoothly. There were no tears or clinging to my leg. She seemed excited and ready to go. So I walked her to the teacher on the little kids playground, hugged her, told her I would come back soon to get her and walked away.
Then I sat there in the quiet car. It felt very peaceful and good. I went to the grocery store and enjoyed a stroll down the aisles without anyone asking me for a treat.
I hope she is having a great 1st day at preschool. Will she have fun with the other kids? Will she begin to make friends? Will she follow the rules?
Another rite of passage for my child- and for me.
2 amazing observations:
Wow Erin! How exciting :)
She looks adorable and looks like she's going to do great. I can't wait to hear how it went.
