Love 'Em

Aren't they just cute? This is who is on my mind today.

Two are home and two are away having adventures without me. When did they get old enough to be away from their Mom? Wait. When did I get old enough to have kids that are old enough to be away from their Mom??? Weird. Sometimes it feels like I've had children for a long time and other times it feels like it is racing by too fast. I can't begin to imagine life without kids. Of course I like to dream about the empty-nest days ahead when it's just the two of us doing whatever WE want to do. But right now it also sounds a bit too quiet and lonely. I'm sure it will feel right when the time comes. And who knows, Helaina is certain she is going to live with me forever.
