It was a good Saturday. We washed cars, did some yard work and relaxed.
In the evening Jeran and I watched one of my favorite shows, "Ace of Cakes". As soon as it was over, Jeran asked if we could make cookies. It's amazing how quickly kids volunteer to help in the kitchen when you're baking yummy food. Jeran, Helaina and I made the chewy chocolate chip cookies from the Martha Stewart cookie book.
Around our house we eat raw dough. Yep, we lick spatulas and beaters. I doubt it will kill us, but if it does, what a way to go!
Our lab, Mandy was waiting hopefully in case someone dropped a bit of dough. Her patience was rewarded.

Too bad I couldn't reach through my computer screen and steel a cookie. They look good. I could use some car washers over here on Evergreen!
